Purpose:
To carry out inspection of
electrical installations of Power utilities/consumers
keeping in view safety requirements and protection
provided and issue approval for energisation of the
equipment under I.E. Rules, 1956.
Scope:
All electrical installations under
Central Govt./CPSUS (Except Railways, Defence, P&T
and Mines) in the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur,
Tripura, Nagaland and all installations in States
of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram
